Va-Va-Va is a little pop storm, a giddy avalanche that like, say, a classic early Associates single, fizzes with melody and its own, strange internal logic. You’ll hear the band’s love of the Cocteau Twins, and the Beach Boys in the gorgeous, ethereal harmonies of these songs (particularly b-side Wrapped In Plastic), but also their dancefloor savvy. The band’s own ‘disco mix’ is seven minutes of disco/synth heaven, the best remix Daft Punk never made, and available from this shop as FREE download!
