'Yowser Yowser Yowser' is no slouch either. Built upon a bed of dense, droning bass and propelled by Laurie Waller's disco be-bop drums, it's a second mesmerising slab of shifting sound. Before it winds down, Messrs. Blick and Blick have brought a carnival of call and response brass to town, rendering the lack of vocal input utterly irrelevant. The end results are ecstatic, bizarre and fascinating and logical comparisons refreshingly few and far between. OMD's much-derided 'Dazzle Ships' maybe, but not a lot else. WHISPERIN & HOLLERIN
